1. How do I fulfill the Self-Assessment requirement?

• Lifelong Learning Modules: AACAP has developed a series of written modules comprised of recently released, clinically relevant journal articles and book chapters. Each module contains a pre- and post-test and has been ABPN-approved for SA and CME credit.
• Annual Meeting Self-Assessment Workshop: Available in conjunction with the Annual Meeting, AACAP offers an SA Workshop on Psychopharmacology (Workshop #19) that allows participants to engage in live multiple-choice question-based discussions led by expert clinicians. This workshop also provides ABPN-approved SA-CME credit.
• Mid-Year Self-Assessment Workshop: Offered annually in the summer, this workshop follows the same format as the Annual Meeting workshop, with a new set of speakers discussing psychopharmacology topics. This workshop also provides ABPN-approved SA-CME credit.

2. Where can I purchase the Lifelong Learning Module?

Modules are available for three years after their date of publication.

6. How do I fulfill the Performance in Practice requirement?

AACAP’s Lifelong Learning Committee has developed a series of checklists and surveys to help members complete the clinical and feedback modules of this requirement. These tools (available to AACAP members only) can be downloaded by visiting www.aacap.org/pip.

7. Where can I find access to the articles in the ABPN Article-Based Continuing Certification (ABCC) Pathway?

AACAP membership includes free access to a majority of the articles selected for the ABCC pathway. For your convenience, AACAP has made the list of these articles available to AACAP members at www.aacap.org/abcc.

8. Where can I find complete details on the CC program requirements?

9. How can I keep track of everything I’ve completed towards my CC requirements?

Sign up and log in to ABPN’s Physician Portal at www.abpn.org. The Physician Portal offers a single source to store all information pertinent to a physician during all stages of their relationship with the ABPN. Additionally, use the Portal to update personal contact information, medical license information, and apply and pay for examinations.

• Beginning in October 2023, if you opt in, AACAP will transfer CME completion data to the ABPN on a monthly basis. This data will populate your ABPN Physician Portal with CME and SA-CME credit earned from AACAP.
