By Air
The main way into and out of Boston is Logan Airport, which is currently serviced by the following airlines: Aer Lingus, Air Canada/Air Canada Jazz, Air France, AirTran, Alaska Airlines, Alitalia, American, American Eagle, British Airways, Cape Air, Continental, Delta Air Lines, flyGlobespan, Iberia, Icelandair, JetBlue Airways, KLM, Lufthansa, Midwest, Northwest, SATA, Spirit Airlines, Swiss, United, US Airways, and Virgin Atlantic Airways. The airport is right across Boston Harbor from downtown Boston, so unless you hit bad traffic, you can be at the Sheraton Boston within 15-20 minutes by taxi. There is also an airport subway stop; after you get your bags, go outside for the free Massport shuttle to the subway.
By Train
Amtrak has frequent train service to Boston from New York and other points in the Northeast Corridor. The trip from New York takes about 3 1/2 hours on Acela Express trains; about 4 hours on other trains. There’s also twice-daily service between Boston and Chicago. Note: Amtrak has three Boston stops. AACAP attendees should use the Back Bay Station, which is just a few blocks from the Sheraton Boston.
By Car
The main routes into Boston are I-90 (also known as the Massachusetts Turnpike) from the west and I-95 and I-93 from the north and south. If you’re coming from New York or points south, however, don’t take I-95 all the way, unless there are places in Connecticut or Rhode Island you want to see. I-84 to I-90 is a much faster route. Try to avoid rush hour (roughly 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on workdays).

Public Transportation in Boston (The "T")
Boston’s subway system, the “T”, services Logan Airport to downtown Boston. To take the “T” from the airport to the Sheraton Boston, take the free Massport shuttle buses to the Airport Station, which services the Blue Line. Take the Blue Line to Government Center, and then transfer to the Green Line. Take the Green Line to Prudential and the Sheraton Boston is connected to the Prudential Building. The cost of a one-way ticket is $2.00.
