Designed to have strong clinical emphasis and participant involvement, this Workshop broadens attendees’ understanding of Asperger’s Disorder through discussion of diagnostic criteria, behavioral assessment and interventions, educational strategies, social skills training, and developing coping mechanisms. Behavioral interventions are described and case examples presented in order to show how to implement in home, school, and community settings. Social skills development is explored through case examples and videotapes in order to discuss basic assumptions and types of interventions.
