This SIG discusses efficacy and tolerability data of pharmacologic treatments for pediatric bipolar data as well as practical, evidencebased strategies for treating manic, mixed, and depressive episodes associated with bipolar disorder in children and adolescents. Options for maintenance treatment and prevention of recurrent affective episodes, along with studies examining treatment of ADHD, disruptive behavior disorders, and substance use disorders in youth with bipolar disorder are discussed
