This Clinical Case Conference examines a child whose presentation is the culmination of an almost “perfect storm” of factors contributing to her symptoms, describing in detail a complicated case of selective mutism as a focus for discussion. It shows video of her development and progress and discusses complications including nonverbal learning difficulties, oral feeding difficulties, and significant medical problems.
