The "Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Finder" can be accessed from "AACAP Quick Links" on the left side of the Academy homepage. Read the terms of use and agree by clicking at the bottom of the page. Then you may use any of the search criteria to find doctors by name, location, languages spoken, etc.
To see the entire Illinois Council roster, fill in the state field (IL) and click search.
ICCAP will produce a paper member directory in the fall of 2008, after members have had an opportunity to update their contact information on line, and after summer job changes are settled.
Members may update their member profiles as follows:
From www.AACAP.org homepage, select "view/edit profile" which appears at the very bottom. You will be prompted to log in (using AACAP membership number and password). Your profile will appear. Scroll down to "edit" and click, then scroll back up and select either "contact info" or "demographic and professional information". Edit and save your information for each of these categories in turn. Then proceed to select which data you wish to be displayed on the "Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Finder" (and in the ICCAP member directory to be printed in October, 2008).

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Finder is a service we offer to our members. It is the method used by non-member visitors to find a child and adolescent psychiatrist. By default, when you are first admitted as a member, your are listed with your name, city and state. At any time you can login and either add more information to the listing, or remove yourself completely. Below are instructions on how to edit your listing.
- Go to www.aacap.org and login
- Scroll to the bottom of the AACAP home page and click on View/Edit Profile
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Edit.
- First, make sure your Contact Information is correct. For additional information click on How do I update my profile.
- Next, make sure your Demographic and Professional Information is correct. For additional information click on How do I update my profile.
- At the bottom of the Demographic and Professional Information page is a section titled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Finder.
- Place a check mark next to the information you would like displayed in your Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Finder listing. Note: Display All Information will display everything, even if Hide All is checked and nothing else is checked. Hide All Information will hide everything even if everything is checked (except Display All).
