Honolulu International Airport (HNL) on Oahu is Hawai’i’s major airport, serving as the entry point for most of Hawai’i’s visitors. All twenty-three major domestic carriers and sixteen international carriers serve Oahu, so you can get here from just about anywhere.

The following airlines flying into HNL: Air Canada, Air New Zealand, Air Pacific Airways, All Nippon Airways, Aloha Airlines, American Airlines, American Trans Air, China Airlines, Continental Airlines, Continental Air Micronesia, Delta Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Japan Airlines, JTB Aloha Service, Korean Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Philippine Airlines, Qantas Airways, Rich International, United Airlines, U.S. Airways.

Airline Discount
American Airlines is offering a 5% discount off of all fares to attendees of AACAP’s 55th Annual Meeting. Simply call (or have your travel agent call) 800.433.1790 and refer to Meeting Authorization Number A39H9AE. You can also use the discount online at www.aa.com for American Airlines/ American Eagle flights only. Use the above Meeting Authorization Number as the discount code. AADVANTAGE members may accrue mileage on American Airlines for tickets purchased through this discount.

Booking Travel
AACAP recommends that travelers take advantage of substantial savings on airfares by booking flights using one of the following Web sites: www.orbitz.com, www.kayak.com, www.travelocity.com, www.expedia.com.

Travel-On Travel Management Agency has been selected as AACAP’s travel agency. Tickets will be mailed directly to you, and every ticketed passenger will receive $200,000 automatic flight insurance at no extra charge. Please note that each ticket purchased through Travel-On has a processing fee of $36.

Travel-On will assist with your seating assignments and credit for frequent flyer programs. For airline reservations, simply call Travel-On at: 1.888.495.7770 or 240.387.4200 and please refer to Account #60. Reservations can be made Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, or fax your request to: 1.800.308.7819 or 240.387.4201. AACAP cannot guarantee that Travel-On will find you a better deal than you or your own travel agent might find.

Taxi from Airport
Honolulu International Airport is about a 20 minute taxi ride from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The approximate cost is $35 – $40. In addition to general taxi service, Charley’s Taxi & Tours located at the Hilton Hawaiian Village®, also provides special taxi services between Honolulu International Airport and Hilton Hawaiian Village. Upon arrival, Charley’s Taxi & Tours offer several different options for transportation from the airport to the resort. Please visit www.charleystaxi.com or call 808.947.0077 for more information and to make reservations. Upon your departure, Charley’s Taxi & Tours provides a special taxi shuttle service from the Hilton Hawaiian Village to Honolulu International Airport. Hours of Operation: Daily 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every hour on the hour (times subject to change) Rate: $12.00 per person. Please call ahead for reservations.

Hertz Rental Car Desk
Hertz offers a rental desk and cars conveniently located at Hilton Hawaiian Village. The Hertz Rental Desk is located at the front of the Tapa Tower (on the Kalia Road side). Plus, save up to $25 by mentioning that you are attending AACAP’s Annual Meeting. Make your reservation online at www.hertz.com or, call 1.800.654.2240. Use CDP# 404419 and PC#121472 to get the discount.

Public Bus Transportation
Oahu Transportation Services offers “The Bus” public bus transportation routes to all parts of Oahu. For information on routes, times and fares please call 808.848.5555 or visit the web site at www.thebus.org.

The Wai kiki Trolley
This unique mode of transportation offers different tours and conveniently stops at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Contact the Hilton Hawaiian Village Activities Desk for trolley-route booklets and all-day passes. Activities Desk: 808.949.4321, ext. 29.

Parking
Hilton Hawaiian Village provides a six-level parking garage, conveniently accessible from all towers at the resort. Self-parking and valet parking are both available.
