8:00 – 11:00 a.m. (ticket)
Irene Chatoor-Koch, M.D., Loredana Lucarelli, Psy.D., Jody Ganiban, Ph.D.
This Workshop familiarizes the participants with the classification of feeding disorders, helps the participants understand the merits of a multidisciplinary approach to the assessment of feeding disorders, and discusses the role of observation of the feeding of the child by the primary caregiver as a central part of the assessment. The Workshop also demonstrates that these feeding disorders can be observed in children from different countries, and from different ethnic, racial, and cultural backgrounds, and how the four different feeding disorders respond to various intervention methods.
