This Workshop focuses on how to combine strength-based approaches with empirically supported treatments (ESTs) that target psychopathology. It also focuses on how to implement the combined strength of strength-based approaches and evidence-based practice (EBP) approaches. The objective of this Workshop is to present examples from different clinical systems showcasing how each is implementing either a strength-based approach or multiple ESTs or both. Participants learn the central role of organizational context and how to “unpack” it in thinking about their own system by comparing the approaches in these 3 different systems.
