This breakfast provides an opportunity for participants to discuss their efforts to implement evidence-based practices (EBPs) with Dr. Hamilton, who is the editor of the Series on Evidence-Based Practice of the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and who is himself involved in an implementation project in a large HMO. The objective is for participants to gain an understanding of the factors associated with successful implementation of EBPs. Participants are encouraged to offer vignettes of their own efforts to implement EBP, both those that went well and those that have been problematic.
